I’m eyeballing a set of Adam S2-A studio monitors on Ebay. It looks like I can snag the pair for under $2300. This a thunderous deal as the Adam S2-A studio monitor normally sells for $1750 per speaker.
I’ve never been happy with my Mackie HR824 studio monitors. While they have always functioned, no matter how much I improve the acoustics of my room there is something about the Mackie HR824s that simply doesn’t get along with me.
Most people have been a victim of the “sounds great in the studio, but terrible at home” crisis. Room acoustics and studio monitors are the single biggest cause of this. I’ve fought this problem for years and it’s time to do something about it. If buying the super expensive Adam S2-A studio monitor doesn’t fix it…it must be me!
